History of the AK74-U:

The AKS74U or AKSU, is a compact weapon from the great Kalashnikov lineage which was put into service at the end of the 1970s. Designed on an AK74 basis, it is intended for special forces, Spetsnaz, close guards and armored unit members.

Its short barrel length significantly increases the weapon's rate of fire to the detriment of its accuracy, range and stability.

Its minimalist dimensions and folding stock make it a discreet weapon, with a small footprint, perfect for short-range combat of the CQB or urban type, at high intensity.
